Bannerghatta Road frequently recognized as B.G Road is a Karnataka State Highway which joins Bengaluru City during Bannerghatta village, Jigani and lastly getting Anekal. It begins from Adugodi, and finishes at the Bannerghatta National park, behind which it is recognized as Jigani-Anekal Road. Bannerghatta road formerly had the title Anekal road. Over the years, on account of the status of Bannerghatta National Park, a chief sightseer magnetism, this road is at the moment being entitled Bannerghatta road. Of late the Karntaka government permitted the BDA's choice to broaden Bannerghatta Road, amongst quite a few others counting Hosure Road, Kanakpura Road to 6 lanes.
